Homeowners too often hire on a hunch and hope it works out. Good contractors too often spend nights chasing leads instead of building. We started TruBuild to fix both problems at once.
For homeowners, we are a free advocate who finds and vets contractors, compares estimates, and manages the project from the first call to the final walkthrough. For contractors, we take lead generation and sales off the plate and run the pipeline alongside them.
It works because the incentives line up. We only succeed when homeowners get great work and contractors grow.

Our guidance is free and honest. We are paid by contractors, never by you, and we only recommend people we would trust with our own homes.

TruBuild started on Long Island, with a founder who spent years on job sites and at kitchen tables watching the same thing happen. Good homeowners getting nervous, good contractors getting buried in paperwork and sales calls.
So we built a home improvement consultancy that is free for homeowners and paid by the contractors we vet. We serve Suffolk and Nassau County, and we treat every project like it is happening at our own house.
